first_imgUS franchised hybrid agency eXP Realty is to officially launch this week in the UK and now has several estate agents signed up to be its local representatives, says its boss Adam Day.This include a former Yopa territory owner and ‘dozens’ more to be revealed at its launch party on Friday. But the company appears to be concentrating on bagging a head office team at the moment and recent hires have included easyProperty’s operations manager Olivia Pirrit and Ian Dobrin, who is a leading recruitment consultant within the property industry. He worked at Connells as its Group Recruitment Director for nearly seven years during the early noughties. But eXp Realty’s biggest catch so far is Mark Bentley who, the company has announced today, is joining as both a business consultant but will also be operating his own estate agency as ‘powered by eXp Realty’.Bentley (left) is one of the most experienced and well-known industry figures and has worked as an estate agent for over 40 years. Last year he served as President of NAEA Propertymark.“I’ve not only been really impressed with what Adam has done in such a short space of time, but I’m extremely impressed with Adam himself,” says Bentley.“We only met for the first time in August and I wasn’t sure what I was going to think, as sometimes you can have preconceived ideas of people that have been in the industry spotlight.“However, I’ve found him to be a breath of fresh air in his approach to how both eXp agents, and the consumer, should be looked after.”Before heading up eXP Realty in the UK, Day had senior roles at easyProperty and eMoov and also founded online agency Hatched.co.uk. easyProperty Emoov exp realty November 11, 2019Nigel LewisWhat’s your opinion?
