first_img Published on December 22, 2014 at 9:57 pm Contact Phil: [email protected] | @PhilDAbb Facebook Twitter Google+ It’s becoming “increasingly” more likely that Syracuse keeps center DaJuan Coleman on the shelf and he takes a medical redshirt, SU head coach Jim Boeheim said after his team’s 78-43 win over Colgate on Monday.Coleman, a junior, is recovering from a procedure designed to regrow cartilage in his knee that was done in January.“He’s working a little bit more, but we’ll probably decide in about the next couple of weeks what’s going to happen one way or the other,” Boeheim said. “If he doesn’t look like he’s ready to go, then we’ll redshirt him this year. That’s what it looks like, but we’ll give him a little bit more opportunity to see.“That’s increasingly what it looks like unless he can put together five or six good days and felt really good.
