first_imgREIGNING county champions St Eunan’s got back to winning ways with a five-point win over Dungloe at O’Donnell Park this evening.Supporters of both teams were joined by spectators and players from possible opposition in the next round as county stars Colm McFadden and the McHugh brothers took their seats in the main stand. And for a few brief minutes in the first half it looked that, perhaps, the Dungloe men were there to cause an upset. The impressive Luke Neely netted after just five minutes as Eunan’s were sluggish off the starting blocks. Both sides exchanged points as the visitors led 1-02 to two points.Maxi Curran’s men upped the ante after that, hitting eight more scores before the half-time whistle to give St Eunan’s a 0-10 to 1-03 half-time lead.It was nip and tuck after the break and any chance Dungloe had of causing an upset needed a second goal and Adam Neely had a glorious to net but flashed his effort to the right of John Paul Clarke’s net. The hosts ran out winners 0-14 to 1-06 when it could have been more, Eunan’s hitting several second half wides, with Rory Carr off the mark with his place-kicking today. ST EUNAN’S BACK ON TRACK WITH WIN OVER DUNGLOE was last modified: August 29th, 2015 by John2Share this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:dungloeSt Eunanslast_img read more
